I am a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting people to heal from complex/developmental trauma experiences. I prioritise the therapeutic relationship and the relational health of the people I work with, and enjoy working with both children and adults. I am intentional in meeting people where they are at and deciding together where to go from there in therapy. I work primarily with complex trauma presentations, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, intellectual disabilities, and attachment difficulties.
My approach in therapy includes biofeedback (neurofeedback), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I also complete trauma informed assessments.
I am mindful of the knowledge of the people I work with, and encourage them to be decision makers in tailoring how therapy looks for them.
