With an eclectic approach to the therapeutic space, I draw from integrated approaches in recognition that we are all unique and there is no one model that suits us all. In the therapeutic relationship, you are the expert in your own life – you bring yourself, your experiences and your wisdom, and I bring my training, experience and compassion. I am a social worker and counsellor with 20 years of experience providing individual counselling to people from many different communities, particularly people who have experienced abuse and trauma.
I work to co-create a counselling space with people that feels safe, non-judgmental, and supportive, to enable you to reflect on your life and experiences. It is an honour for me to hold space collaboratively with people, and create understanding and compassion that can radically shift how we move in the world, and within ourselves.
My training includes parts work, psychotherapy, mindfulness, somatic work, and trauma informed practice. I am currently studying and working toward my doctorate in Ecological Psychology.
