You may have heard that relationships are hard work, but you really don’t know how hard it can be until you are in one. Many couples feel stuck in a cycle of repeating the same arguments and believe they have tried everything within their power to get their partner to understand them. This struggle is very real and normal among couples-you are not alone! You may be struggling with connection with your partner due to things like feelings of hurt, betrayal, or resentment from past issues. With the right support, many couples can move past these feelings and create a stronger bond with each other.
As a Couple and Family Therapist with 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping couples learn how to communicate and better understand each other. I am a Psychotherapist and Social Worker in Ontario. In addition to couples therapy, I offer Couples Therapy for One, where I work with individuals whose partners may not want to participate in therapy.
Every relationship is unique, so I tailor each session to meet your specific therapeutic goals and needs. I strive to maintain fairness and neutrality and try to use humour when possible. My goal is to help you understand your partner, develop better communication, and foster a stronger connection and intimacy in your relationship.
