I am a Registered Counselling Therapist working primarily with adults and couples. I work with clients who seek to address or find relief for anxiety, stress, low mood, health challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, workplace issues, burnout, relationship issues, parenting, and more. While exploring life challenges and concerns, strengths and values, we collaborate to create meaningful goals and a pathway to growth, change and well-being.
I am committed to providing clients with a safe and confidential counselling experience in which there is respect, compassion, care and humour, and development of a therapeutic relationship. As an integrative counsellor, I draw largely from person-centered, strengths based, solution focused, and emotion focused therapies.
It has been my privilege to work with people across the lifespan as a therapist, caseworker, and rehabilitation consultant as well as in clinical and operational leadership. When faced with difficulties and feeling overwhelmed, I know how helpful it can be to feel heard and supported to find hope and a way forward in life's journey.
