I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a doctorate degree (PhD.) in General psychology. I am a certified Brainspotting therapist. I have worked with clients in various settings such as hospitals, community centers, crisis centers and private practices delivering psychotherapy and counseling for individuals and groups. I started my practice with Cognitive Behavioral approaches and after some years of practicing, I became interested and delved into more innovative brain-body based approaches that look deeper to human’s psyche, brain, body and healing.
I conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, conceptualize cognitive, behavioral, contextual, and relational formulations of the presenting problems and implement effective treatment plans. The focus of my practice is on adults aged 19 and above and my clinical expertise is anxiety, PTSD, Phobias, depression, self-esteem and issues around personality.
I am compassionate, trustworthy and a very good listener. My practice is culturally sensitive, and client centered.
