Brown Counselling and Therapy Services is a team of qualified therapists who are passionate about working alongside you to provide the tools to help you navigate through life's up and downs. I'm here to support you. My goal is for you to feel heard, accepted, and safe. I know it can feel intimidating to seek therapy, but it really can make all the difference. One of the biggest misconceptions is that all individuals who seek therapy have some sort of mental illness; however, therapy is for everyone, and we can all use a little help once in a while.
I treat adolescents and adults on a variety of concerns such as interpersonal and relational difficulties, behavioural issues, anxiety, and depression. In our sessions together, my aim will be to assist you in identifying and understanding the root cause of your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours, and to provide you with tools to feel and function better.
My philosophy stems from both a strengths-based and client-centered perspective. I use an integrative approach as I truly believe therapy is a personal journey. I will tailor our sessions based on your needs while incorporating activities and techniques that are evidence-based and age appropriate. I'm glad you're here and I look forward to meeting you.
