I'm Carly, and I help teens and adults process trauma and grief, as well as heal their anxiety, depression, relationships, and/or coping mechanisms. I work with people from all walks of life and have a particular interest in working with survivors of narcissistic abuse and adverse childhood experiences. I have extensive experience treating complex trauma and healing anxious attachment wounds. Trauma is re-experienced in the mind and body and greatly impacts the lens through which you view the world. Therapy can be incredibly effective at helping you become unstuck from your past - more ease, better relationships, and presence.
I encourage you to show up exactly as you are. I will hold space for your emotions, stories, and experiences, and commit to getting to know you as a unique individual. We will go at a pace that feels right for you. I pull from various evidence-based modalities including EFT, ACT, CBT, IFS, Existential Theory, somatic therapy, and nervous system regulation.
I cultivate a safe and confidential space to talk about anything you need to divulge. I am here to support you and ready to connect with you. I have worked with clientele from a diversity of cultures, faiths, genders, races, and sexual orientations. It is imperative that you feel heard and understood by your counsellor.
