Admitting you need help, and getting it, are probably one of the hardest things to do in life. I work with individuals, couples and families. As a counsellor who works with individuals, I help clients identify their problem, collaborately set goals with them, and help them discover tools to cope with their struggles on a daily basis. As a couple's therapist, I help clients improve communication, identify what is driving the relationship difficulties, and help the couple move towards the desired dynamic in the relationship. As a family therapist, I help families resolve their conflicts and improve communication.
My clinical training was diverse, and I was able to work with clients as in-patients in hospital settings, university campus, as well as community centres, both in the private and public sectors. As a result, I believe healthy relationships are crucial to a person's well-being and to a successful society.
I have over ten years of experience, both locally and abroad, which allows me to understand each person in their unique context. I am also fluent in English and Spanish. I am trained to help clients integrate their spirituality into our sessions if they would like to.
