Are you and your partner feeling stuck in the same negative cycle? Emotions can often feel either numb or too big, getting in the way of authentic connection to self and others. I am here to help you reconnect with your body, with your emotions, and with yourself. I work with eating disorders, anger management, self-compassion, trauma and coping with big or numbed emotions. I work especially with teens but also adults of all ages, including couples.
I use trauma and Polyvagal-informed therapies to listen to the messages your nervous system is giving you. Then we can use Emotionally Focused and Somatic informed therapies to give your nervous system what it needs. With couples, I work from an EFCT approach to notice the patterns of disconnection in your relationship that are leading you to feel stuck.
I am a creative and open psychotherapist who is passionate about being accepting of all clients and situations.
