Hi, my name is Jillian and I offer evidence based therapy with the option of incorporating horses into the therapy process (Equine Assisted Counselling). I work with adults, youth and children; and focus on treatment of anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, social-emotional challenges, and processing difficult life changes. Animal assisted therapy comes with special benefits to our well-being. But including animals in the counselling process is up to you! If you prefer to sit and talk in my office, we can do that, too! You (and/or your children) deserve to feel better and enjoy life. Let's get there together.
Clients are welcome to incorporate horse activities and horseback riding into their therapy process; or can choose to engage in traditional talk therapy. Located under an hour from HRM. Practices include Psycho Education, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy. I very much look forward to hearing from and learning about you.
