In addition to having a private practice I have worked for over 15 years with Vancouver Coastal Health in its Cross Cultural Program and the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Outpatient Services. My practice is informed by ongoing research on best practices in Psychotherapy. I provide a warm, non-judgmental and confidential environment. I will work collaboratively with you on designing plans to move forward taking into account your own life circumstances and expertise.
I am grounded mainly in Psychodynamic Oriented Psychotherapy supplemented by my training in other modes of Psychotherapy such as: • Compassion Focused Therapy; • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); • DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy); • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing); • Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy.
