Are you looking for support for your child or teen? Do they struggle with anxiety/worries or anger? Are there difficulties with focus/ attention/ ADHD? Have they experienced a big life event such as a parental separation, death, or move? I have 15+ years supporting children, youth, and families experiencing a variety of struggles, in schools and in the community. I'm also a mom to 3 school-aged boys who have taught me a lot about the challenges of parenting. I would be honoured to help support your family in making some positive changes.
I offer therapy sessions to children and youth (ages 4-18). I primarily utilize evidence-based play and expressive art-based activities as well as CBT, ACT, DBT approaches in my sessions to provide emotional support and help teach new skills. I also offer regular parent sessions to support you along in the process and ensure we are working as a team.
My appointments are generally in-person at my office in Manotick. I do offer the occasional virtual session for parents or teens. I'm happy to meet briefly in person or virtually free of charge to help you determine if I could be a good fit for your family.
