I am a Mexican-Canadian, loving living in the Great White North. I am a wife and a loving mother of a sometimes-too-smart-for-her-own-good toddler and three fur babies. I am also a nerd who enjoys board games and a good cup of coffee. My professional life took me down many different roads until I finally realized my passion was to listen and help people, particularly those who feel they do not deserve help.
I enjoy working with anyone struggling with their mental health and I have a special interest in working with people suffering from trauma and comorbid and differential mental health diagnoses. I work and incorporate elements from CBT, DBT, CT-R, Attachment, Polyvagal and Trauma-Informed therapies.
I am delighted to work at Anderson Dupuis Wellness! My counselling approach draws from different theories as I do not believe one single method works for everyone, and each theory and approach has its strengths.
