Do you sometimes feel stuck in your personal life? Do you get anxious or depressed? Are you concerned or struggling in your marriage or relationship? I create a safe place to explore these issues in a non-judgmental atmosphere, whether personal issues, relationship issues or divorce issues.
Working from a family systems approach I work with individuals and their personal issues when people feel stuck in their lives. I also do couples therapy, helping with communication or intimacy problems. And family issues, both current issues with parenting or family, and family of origin. I also specialize in divorce issues and am a Parenting Coordinator.
I believe people have the resources to resolve their problems, but they have difficulties accessing those resources when their stress and anxiety is high. The goal is to understand the emotional landscape you live in and how that shapes your experience of life and relationships. I explore with you your thinking and feeling world so you can function better.

Groups
Parent Hope Project
The Parent Hope Project was designed for one or both parents, but has been trialed for a groups. I'm not currently running a group. It's for parents with a child, teenager or young adult who is experiencing challenges in parenting or their child is experiencing mental health symptoms. It focuses on parents exploring their parenting and how to manage themselves effectively. It helps parents to step back from their child's symptoms and allow them to step up and take responsibility for their own change. It's based on a 6 session manual for parents. I am currently seeing parents individually.
