I’m trained and skilled in women's wellness and perinatal mental health. I'm experienced as a school-based social worker and am familiar with the unique needs of children. I work from a client-centered approach drawing from various research-proven approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness and much more.
I’m certified in equine assisted therapy (EAT) which takes us outside and incorporates horses into therapy. EAT helps to build confidence, gain trust and form healthy connections and boundaries. Horses allow us to feel safe and learn new strategies to better manage unwanted thoughts and behaviours, especially youth and anyone who may be therapy resistant.
