I have over 30 years experience in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and Learning Disabilities in children, adolescents and adults. I have recently retired from the Janeway Child Health Center in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, after 32 years of service. I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 30 and I have a son who is diagnosed with ADHD. I have tried many different types of ADHD medications and all of them gave me side effects. I therefor use exercise and music as my coping strategies.
