It is not always easy to begin the process of reaching out for support, with that, I take pride in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment from the initial consultation, through the duration of our therapeutic relationship. Whatever your goals may be, I work from a strengths-based, collaborative lens, with the understanding that you are the expert in your own life. I am a proud ally to the LGBTQ2S community and welcome all persons.
I have over 15 years of experience, with a large portion of those years supporting individuals living with substance use and MH difficulties, as well as their family members. Working from a harm-reduction, trauma-informed. lens, I can assist you in discovering the roots of your substance use issue(s), to support long term wellbeing.
I have had the privilege of supporting clients with a variety of issues, from Intimate Partner Violence, Grief, Family strain, Sexual assault/abuse survivors, to exploring the next step after retirement. This therapeutic group centered on grief is intended to provide support, education and coping strategies for managing grief during the holidays. Learn how to: Honour and commemorate your loss Cope over the holiday season Connect with others with shared experiences.
