Venture Academy is Canada’s first and longest running private, direct access, adolescent residential program. Since 2001, Venture Academy has been providing assessment, treatment and educational support services for struggling teens, ages 12-18, suffering from mental health issues, substance use and other emotional or behavioural challenges. Our program is licensed and accredited and heavily focused on strength building. Families are actively involved in the treatment process to improve the success of their child. Venture Academy has served over 1,600 youth and families from every corner of the country and internationally. We offer short-term intervention with a focus on assessment and stabilization as well as longer-term treatment focused on sustainable change and positive treatment outcomes. Last Door Recovery Centre’s programs are designed to integrate with current patient's mental health team, compounding pharmacology, psychotherapy CBT, acupuncture, residential treatment, social model programming and long term peer support integration. Last Door is part of the New West Recovery Community, which is considered North America's most dynamic vibrant community for people to recovery. We treat the roots behind addictions. At the Crossing Point we believe in treating the individual, that is why we include at least TWO 1-on-1 private sessions each week which is rare in our industry. On top of this we add a full complement of daily sessions focusing on topics like Anxiety & Depression, Grief and Loss, Self-Esteem, Anger, Co-Dependency, Trauma, 12 steps, Self-Care, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Relapse Prevention. Our Individualized program allows us to address your specific situation and circumstances. We offer program lengths of 30, 60, 90, or 120 days for both men and women as it is a proven fact that longer treatment lengths increase positive treatment outcomes. Small Admissions Sizes Help as well! We only take a maximum of 6 male of female clients at a time. This helps to ensure that no one slips through the cracks, as often in larger centers it is hard to be heard among the crowd. At The Crossing Point, your voice is important. We offer: Semi-Private Rooms, Comfortable Clean Accommodations, Supportive Professional Staff, Nutritious Meals, and get Individualized Counselling and therapy that is specifically focused on your needs.
