Feeling unsure about yourself? Is planning a family causing some restlessness, anxiety or stress? Sometimes this is the first time a women may feel out of control. Understanding this is normal and learning ways to adapt and cope with changing roles in the different phases allows us to regain the that sense of self and control. My first-hand experience in caring for those experiencing maternal mental health issues such as postnatal depression, adjusting to parenthood, grieving a miscarriage, as well changes associated with the ageing process has given me insight to the numerous challenges individuals and families go through.

In a therapeutic relationship in which we are ourselves without a social mask and fully present, our brains, the most amazing organs in the universe, are continually shaped. You don't need to succumb to anxiety, stress, and other negative emotions. False fears and wrong beliefs affect all of us, you are not alone. Thoughts are not facts. Once you have become proficient at identifying your automatic thoughts and emotions, you could live the life you love and love the life you live. When thinking about the most meaningful life for yourself, you could also consider your strengths and how to make use of your own great potential.
