I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients and couples. I am thankful to witness their soulful, courageous efforts to address the challenges that come to them. Many benefit from evidenced based treatment models that address their immediate needs and then turn towards a deeper consideration of how past traumas, and events are impacting their desires to grow and thrive. Each of them is looking to mature and enter a fuller experience of their humanity.
My orientation is psychodynamic; I look to help clients address the ways past traumas and events impact their functioning. I also use a strong set of evidenced based modalities to help clients address their immediate needs. These include mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and CBT. In my work with couples I use of variety of modalities including EFCT.
Therapy is most effective when there is a good match between therapists and clients. To explore this fit, I provide a no-charge prescreen. If we are not a good fit, I can refer you to other professional.
