At present with a lot of couples reaching out, it appears to be that communication is a universal issue. They need to re-establish how to start a conversation, it can be about raising a child or just finding time to actually listen to each other. Date nights are of course useful because everybody is so busy, either with working at home or getting back into their other social events, sport or indeed trying to catch up with friends. We forget that our partner is also our friend and indeed our best friend.

I am a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist and counsellor. Sometimes it can be difficult to make the decision to come to counselling and to make that first contact. Counselling can be a very positive and worthwhile experience. I am here to listen to you in a non judgemental way so that you feel safe to talk openly about any issue you may be experiencing.

I am a person centered therapist with ten years experience. I work with individuals in an inquisitive manner, to create a safe and secure space where all emotionality is welcomed and accommodated. As a client, I will work to help you uncover the pieces about yourself that help you and I both to understand what systems and structures you have in place in order to feel safe. From there, we can work to accommodate these systems and give you a sense of self awareness.

As a psychotherapist I look to offer a safe supportive space for clients to talk about what is going on in their life so that they can become clearer about what they might need to shift or change. Everyone needs help from time to time and it can help to talk to someone outside your usual circle in a confidential setting. I have being working as an accredited psychotherapist for over 18 years now. My areas of specialization are broad.

I am a fully Accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist who works with adults. I believe that by providing a confidential and safe environment can allow an individual to speak freely about their life and/or psychical suffering. This important work can provide insight into one’s relationships, life experiences and lead to the easing of psychical suffering. I place the individual’s unconscious in a privileged position within the work and I believe that it is through speaking that understanding can come about and change can take place.

I welcome all clients regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Clients who have experienced traumatic episodes in their life. Clients who have felt they have always been on their own. They may have always felt that they have had no one to protect them, never felt loved or nurtured. Clients who feel they are totally disconnected with who they are. Such clients may feel they are totally lost and have no direction in their life. I welcome all such clients to my practice. Together we will find the reconnection to Self and in doing so find a purpose and goal in life.

I believe that attending therapy is a brave and vulnerable step. I aim to always provide a safe space for my clients, where they can feel seen and heard. I strives to create an atmosphere of warmth and validation, where clients can be comfortable in opening up and feel that their issues are being acknowledged and held. In the creation of a nonjudgmental and empathetic space, clients can be met exactly where they are at. Each client’s experience of therapy is different, and I work to adapt and collaborate with each person, based on their needs.
