EDS Teen Support Group is a weekly group for high school teens diagnosed with (or pursuing a diagnosis of) Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or hypermobility spectrum disorder who are ready to explore their relationship with their diagnosis and gain a community of life-long peers. When you’re a teenager diagnosed with a rare disease, like EDS, the difficulties of living can feel more challenging and incredibly lonely. You’re balancing the daily stressors of simply being an adolescent alongside the fear and frustration of EDS-specific challenges like severe chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, subluxations...and so much more.

Existing in this world is daunting. You’re surrounded by countless opinions and conflicting societal pressures, all at once competing to tell you what’s important, what you could be doing, and how you should be feeling. And what’s more? It’s completely, overwhelmingly, loud. Amidst all the noise, it’s easy to feel like you’re suddenly frozen. Stuck in an endless loop of having to choose - what the entirety of the world wants from you or what your authentic, unique self actually needs, just so you can get through the day.

Do you want to feel more confident and assertive? Do you struggle with self esteem or feeling good enough? I specialize in helping adults develop healthy self confidence, and live with more self esteem in life. Sometimes people might describe you as a "really nice person" or you might be feeling like a people pleaser. As a result it's common to struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, or relationships. Together we can explore some of the experiences in your life that are holding you back and learn new skills that will help you feel good about who you are, express your emotions in healthy ways, and find meaningful relationships.

The path to mental health healing can feel like hiking an intimidating mountain, in a snowstorm, with no trail markers. It can feel scary, overwhelming, and like a journey you are not ready to begin alone. I am here to guide you, one step at a time, at your pace, with all the trail snacks. I believe no mental health mountain is too tall for you to summit. I've had the privilege of assisting individuals and couples facing a spectrum of challenges—from anxiety & depression to relationship struggles, ADHD, boundary-setting, & beyond all reach their summit. There's nothing quite like being part of someone's journey to self-realization.

Hi, I'm Trish and I specialize in working with those of us who are living with dissociative disorders, such as DID. I prefer working in-person. Note: my session rates are $85 for individuals and $150 for couples. I can give you a superbill. Research shows a direct link from early childhood trauma to adult dissociative disorders. I'm a Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) practitioner - an approach based on the Structural Dissociation model. I use Harville Hendrix's Imago relational model for system & couples work. I also teach Stephen Porges' Polyvagal approach. I’m also trained in Sensorimotor Somatic Psychotherapy.

Let's be honest. When it comes to the battle with porn and sexually compulsive behavior you feel defeated. You're tired of hearing that more effort and accountability is the answer. What you're doing isn't working. Right? I get it. For over twenty years I hid my secret porn and sex addiction. I understand the crushing shame and guilt. I understand that feeling deep in the gut that "things will never really change." But you know what? I found freedom that lasts. I experienced the deep change I thought would never happen. And you can too.

Can we all agree that life can be rough? One minute, things are great, then the next, things feel different. Is it a disconnect in our relationships? Is it unmanageable demands? Life feels heavy, and the days feel long. We question the path we have taken and worry about our future. You are not alone! Imagine feeling at ease, again. What does that feel like? Is it reduced anxiety, increased self-esteem, or socializing again? I am here to meet you on your journey and help you to feel empowered and supported. Every person has a different story to tell. The counseling process should reflect an individuals' journey.

The group focuses on utilizing DBT skills, Emotional Sobriety Skills, Relapse Prevention Skills, and understanding how past traumas (no matter how big or small) can affect long term recovery. The group is currently done through Zoom (Telehealth) until further notice.

I have been working in the mental health field for over 40 years. I started working in mental health facilities in my early 20's while I was in college. I have worked with adults and adolescents in all kinds of modalities, yet I seemed to focus more toward young people and their families with substance abuse problems and anxiety. Some of that stems from having to deal with my own addictions in my late teens and finally getting clean and sober at age 20. Thus, I understand what it is like to be overwhelmed by addiction and the need to engage in a recovery process.

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent and lead.

Horses have an innate sense of the suffering of their herd. They are hyper-attuned to the needs of others around them. When I work with my horses they are able to pick up on the underlying needs and desires of my clients. They know when you are feeling angry, isolated, or restless. The horses are able to attune to your emotions while I help you to put those feelings into words and do the necessary work to solve life's challenges. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery.

Research suggests that those who struggle with sexual integrity issues have greater treatment outcomes when group therapy is integrated as an adjunct to individual therapy and 12-step work. Group work is a crucial element to recovery that allows for deep relational connection between group members. Addicts have often times been traumatized during childhood years and group interventions provide a safe and supportive environment to process trauma. This group will be limited to 8 participants (men only) and will be first come first serve. Those interested in learning more about this group can simply call or email me for details.

As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) trained in IFS, I am absolutely passionate about helping those impacted by sexual integrity issues. I work with "addicted parts" using individual, couple, and group therapy modalities. I am quite aware of relational trauma that partners of sex, porn, and relationship addicts experience, and I compassionately work to guide addicted parts through isolating and shame-filled experiences. My role is to help reduce this shame and systematically get to the root of the addictive and compulsive behaviors that have led to intimacy disorder issues.

I work with men and women facing both the 'big' and the seemingly common issues of life. 'Big' life changes like a cancer diagnosis or a partner experiencing dementia; 'Life' issues like relationships, grief/loss, anxiety, anger, depression, persistent feelings of sadness, job difficulties, retirement challenges and more. Those who work with me soon come to appreciate the value of being heard; of being seen and accepted-despite the sharp edges that may appear as we try to protect ourselves from the pain the world sometimes presents us.
