I am Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I started my career in Psychiatry in 2005, in the United Kingdom, as an associate mental health practitioner at the NHS/University of Southampton. I have a Bachelors of Nursing from Georgia Southern University and two years of family Nurse practitioner training from South University and a Masters of Mental health nurse practitioner from Walden University . I am ANCC board certified and can treat patients with mental health condition across the lifespan .Addiction and crises is my specialty. My journey began in a state psychiatric hospital for children, where I formed deep connections with teenage girls who had endured significant trauma and abuse. After relocating to Arizona, I focused on working with Veterans, spending a decade at the Phoenix VA Medical Center in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My commitment to making a difference led me to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Psychiatric Mental Health.
