Many of her clients are seeking integrative traditional and complimentary treatments to minimize the amount of psychiatric medications they are taking. She offers mental health support in unhurried appointments in which her clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Fatimah Boone is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adults 18 and older. She specializes in anxiety, insomnia, mood disorders, depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD, and other psychiatric issues and disorders. She brings experience working inpatient and outpatient clinics. She performs psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric diagnoses, and prescribes and provides medication management as well as person-centered psychotherapy to patients residing in New York and Delaware. Appointments are only on weekday evenings and weekends.

At Brandywine Valley TMS we provided TMS therapy (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for patients with depression who have tried medications and/or psychotherapy but have not yet experienced the relief they seek.

My philosophy and the way of treating patients is to let them know from the beginning that I am just another person in the world, just like they are. Nothing makes me invincible to any mental health disorder (anxiety, depression, OCD, etc.) When we start talking about treatment plans and medications are involved versus going all natural treatment (which I have resources to share with others for this as well). Either way, the patient ultimately chooses their treatment plans and goals with me. My slogan for my business and has been for my life for a very long time is this: "No one is PERFECT; however we are ALL perfectly imperfect!"
