I worked eight years as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in several settings before expanding my specialty to Psychiatry/Mental Health. It was the best career decision I could have made. I started practicing in Psychiatry seven years ago in a correctional setting treating adolescents and adults. It was there that I recognized the significance of early mental health promotion, screening and treatment. For the past four years I’ve worked in a private practice with a diverse patient population across the lifespan. My main role is assessing, diagnosing, education and medication management but I occasionally incorporate therapy.

I have been practicing as a General Physician in Dhaka, Bangladesh since 1984, until I relocated to the USA in 2005. I became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner after receiving a Master’s degree from Kennesaw State University, GA. I worked with several psychiatrists and completed another Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati, OH to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Sandra is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner whose certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Sandra has experience in treating psychiatric patients in variety of settings including maximum security forensics, inpatient, outpatient, and detox facilities per face-to-face and telehealth. Sandra started her career working as a psychiatric registered nurse (2006) in acute crisis stabilization units and 24-hour observation units.

I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. after having passed a stringent written examination in the subject matter of Psychiatry and Neurology. As well, oral examination with actual patients under the scrutiny of experts in the field. I have 23 years of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults; inpatient and outpatient. I am trained and familiar with various modalities of psychotherapy; however, I am not currently a primary therapist as I coordinate care. I provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment-resistant depression which can be life-changing for resistant depression.

Jason has experience with treating depression, anxiety, addiction, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADD/ADHD and sees patients from ages 18 to 90. Jason has 25+ years of healthcare experience in emergency and behavioral health settings. Jason aims to see each person as an individual with a distinctive situation that needs personal attention.

She offers comprehensive care through evidence-based medication management as well as brief supportive and solution-focused psychotherapy. Dr. Ann Marie Buchanan-Cummings is a doctoral prepared, board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 18 years of experience in the Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Dr. Buchanan-Cummings earned a BS in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle, NY, a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Our prescriber can prescribe all medications excluding Controlled Substances such as Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Ritalin, Adderall, and others in some states.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist specializing in the true integration of psychopharmacology with psychotherapy. My goal is to actively collaborate with you to achieve treatment goals, while reducing the need for psychotropic medication when appropriate. I pride myself on providing individual psychotherapy combined with medication management (rare for modern day psychiatrists) and also coordinated medication management for patients who see another therapist. Stephanie started her nursing career in 2005 as a nurse extern on a med-surg unit at Medical Center Navient Health. Over the years she has been provided opportunities to gain knowledge and skill in several areas of nursing such as: labor and delivery, women's services, stroke/neuro, case management, and utilization reviews. She obtained her mental health experience providing treatment with community service board outpatient practices.

Since 2005, I have worked in a variety of settings from the emergency department and Pediatrics to Family and Women’s health as well as inpatient and outpatient Psychiatry.
