Georgina Chamungwana is a mental health enthusiast certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and trained in crisis prevention and intervention. She is passionate about whole body wellness and dedicated to providing the best patient care. She began her health care career working in palliative and hospice care and after graduating from nursing school, she immersed herself in mental health and spent several years acquiring skills and knowledge in inpatient psychiatric/mental health care. When she is not watching documentaries in her free time, you will find her gardening, listening to varying genre of music or exploring new places.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Molly has experience treating Post Traumatic Stress and Trauma-Related Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Substance Use Disorders. She is a strong believer in team work and collaboration with clients and their families to help them manage symptoms, enhance functioning, and improve quality of life. She attends monthly community meetings with Maui County Police Department, networks with other mental health providers, pharmacists, and engages with public health agencies to improve access and quality of care to individuals with mental illness.

I've embarked on a lifelong journey of education both through formal trainings and programs, and also acknowledge that I've learned just as much from my clients and colleagues over the years. Clients can expect to feel respected, listened to, and most importantly, that they have someone on their team working with them to meet their goals.

I have seen firsthand the profound effects of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Our program incorporates integrative psychiatry/ketamine administration with trauma healing psychotherapy, reiki and/or intention setting. It is designed to help individuals to heal the root of their pain, to create movement where their system feels “stuck” and to find the innate internal strength that each person holds. The Ketamine program helps individuals to work through their trauma, reduce depression and anxiety, to optimize personal/spiritual growth and relationships, and to widen their perspective, seeing life through a more expansive lens.

My ideal client is someone who's motivated to improve their mental health. They're tired of being tormented by depression, suicidality, anxiety, insomnia, mania, psychosis, addictions, trauma, or a combination of these. Their goal is to experience less suffering in the form of symptom reduction and improved functioning and coping. They're in need of medication management and counseling, or they may be seeking ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) because other treatments failed, they're disillusioned with psychiatry, and/or they feel inadequately supported by ketamine providers that neglect the importance of psychedelic integration.

If you or your child/adolescent are struggling to overcome/manage anxiety, depression, or trauma, then you know how easy it can be to get "stuck" in behavior patterns that keep you from living the life you want. At times, it may even seem impossible to gain traction and move forward. Tara has completed a child and adolescent psychiatric fellowship at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and became nationally board certified as a PMHNP in 2019. Prior to that, she has 12 years of nursing experience including trauma, progressive care nursing, and psychiatric emergencies before graduating with a Master of Science (MSN) advanced training at the University of San Diego. She also served in the United States Air Force as a flight nurse and nursing services instructor and manager.

I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to providing patient-centered care that prioritizes collaboration and shared decision-making. My goal is to empower my clients to take an active role in their mental health journey and provide evidence-based treatments tailored to meet their unique needs and goals. I have experience treating a wide range of mental health issues, including ADHD, addiction and substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder in clients throughout their lifespan.
