I am a PMHNP located in Idaho Falls with telehealth options for Idaho residents as well. I am board certified to independently diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for psychiatric conditions. I attended graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University. I earned three other undergraduate degrees from Idaho State University and the University of Idaho. I have experience with psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to the medical field I have worked in a variety of industries including university research, biomedical lab work, PSR services, and teaching. I look forward to working with you.

You have taken a major step to set an appointment, I commend you because I know it’s not an easy thing to do. I am often told by patients that they hesitated to make an appointment out of fear. Patients often discuss being very nervous about their upcoming appointment. Your first session may evoke certain emotions, this is totally normal. During the appointment you will be asked about the reason for coming in. You may cry, feel awkward, or experience various kinds of emotions while discussing your concerns, but know that it is ok.

I opened Boise Ketamine Clinic over 8 years ago after losing a loved one to suicide. I read a study on ketamine for suicidal ER patients and the results were astounding, a 70% remission in 24 hours after a single ketamine dose. I opened BKC as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) and returned to school to obtain my PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner). I served a three year board term for the non-profit, American Society of Ketamine Practitioners. I then completed Integrative Psychiatry Institute Certificate Program for guiding non-ordinary states journeys and legal psychedelic medicine work.

From the go, my priority is to establish a patient relationship of trust, feeling at ease with open expression, as if conversing with someone they trust. It is a profound honor that they have entrusted me with guiding them through a vulnerable period in their life. My patients have a central role in shaping their treatment plans, catering to their needs. Navigating the unknown has required the development of numerous strategies to find the root cause(s) of their concerns.
