As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner I have extensive experience working with clients of all ages. I focus on a more holistic approach, incorporating the use of medication with an integrative and functional approach. I utilize a collaborative and person-centered approach to care, considering all aspects of a person's life, including physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, to create a comprehensive treatment plan. I am passionate about empowering patients to achieve optimal mental health and wellness.

I use evidence-based strategies to support issues such as trauma focused care. Motivational interviewing, strength-based care, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral strategies. Dr. Hovav has a deep understanding of the biological, psychological and social components of mental illness and treats her patients using evidence-based medicine combined with psychotherapy. For treatment-resistant disorders, she is known to think outside the box with creative psychopharmacology. She graduated medical school, completed an internship in Internal Medicine, then a Postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA, and finally a Psychiatry Residency at Creighton Univ. She was previously a Medical Director of Behavioral Medicine and is currently in private practice. She has several publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals.

Morgan created Transcend out of a passion for holistic wellness. She believes in a mind-body approach to optimal mental health and offers clients personalized, integrative care in attempt to uncover the root cause of a condition. She offers her services through telemedicine and in-person.
