I have experience both in inpatient and outpatient settings. I offer compassion and cutting-edge treatments all wrapped up in a message of hope for my patients. Dr. Lucy Magda ("Dr. Lucy") is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, born and raised on the eastern shore of Maryland. She began her registered nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where she worked to stabilize the most critically ill patients. It is there that her interest in mental health flourished as she witnessed first-hand how essential mental health is for the overall wellbeing of her patients. She realized that there is no health without mental health.

After a decade in psychiatry, I have worked with individuals from many walks of life and a variety of treatment goals, usually related to navigating problems with mood, anxiety, or focus. The majority of my experience, including a fellowship, has involved working with individuals recovering from depression during midlife. Depending on conditions and goals, approaches have included medications, tms, psychotherapy, and applying therapeutic frameworks to exercise and diet.

Dr. Jessica Grimes is a board-eligible child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She is originally from Sylva, NC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in religion and minored in biology at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. She graduated cum laude and was inducted into the order of the gownsmen, an honor society. She earned her doctorate from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV.

Accepting New Patients. Tenishia is a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides medication management with psychotherapy to ages six and older. She offers in person in Raleigh, NC, and telehealth services across the state of North Carolina, ensuring convenient access to quality mental health care. We offer in person services out of our Raleigh, NC office at this time. Other locations to be added soon. We also see BCBS of Massachusetts and Horizon New Jersey BCBS, Washington state, and Oregon for patients with Aetna and Cigna. Other insurances coming soon for WA and OR.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over ten years of experience treating various psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, anxiety disorder, co-morbid substance use disorder, and psychotic disorder. My goal is to ensure that patients have a positive experience while seeking psychiatric treatment by establishing a patient-centered environment that promotes privacy and patient comfort.

Greg is a native of Cape Girardeau, MO, and completed PA school at South University in Savannah, GA in 2005. Following his PA studies, he briefly practiced orthopedics and family medicine before finding his way into emergency medicine. Greg has extensive Emergency Department (ED) experience in both rural and academic settings. Prior to moving to the Raleigh area to work in the ED at UNC Rex Hospital, he was a traveling ED clinician providing care in SC, NC, NY, OH, and VA. After working on the frontline throughout the COVID pandemic and experiencing his own mental health challenges, Greg is excited to join Certus Psychiatry.

Evelyn Majachani is dual-board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing and her post-graduate certification at Maryville University in St Louis, Missouri. Evelyn has worked as an adult psychiatric nurse practitioner providing outpatient, community psychiatry treatment to patients with severe mental illness, as well as with geriatric patients in nursing homes, assisted living, and independent living facilities in North Carolina.

Andrea G. Boyer, M.D. is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, who has a passion for providing the best outpatient care. Her clinical areas of interest include anxiety disorders (including OCD), mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders, and eating disorders, among others.
