Ferdinand “Freddy” Akoko has a decade of experience in healthcare. His love for mental health started at 17 while working for Veterans Affairs. Freddy believes in an integrative approach to mental health treatment and the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and soul. He believes that the proper medications plus the right tools equal the correct response.

Dr. Sarah Alsgaard is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia and other psychiatric diagnoses. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2017 from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Following, she joined the Durango, Colorado community and has practice psychiatric care across the lifespan in multiple settings for patients ages 12 and older.

Dr. Arizaga earned her medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  In 2008, she graduated from her Psychiatric Residency, also at the University of New Mexico.  She is board certified in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatric and Neurology) and Addiction Medicine (American Board of Preventive Medicine).  Additionally, she has training and experience in Integrative Psychiatry and is a certified practitioner from the Integrative Psychiatric Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
