Dr. Mohammad Abu-Salha is board-certified and works with patients of all ages. Dr. Abu-Salha obtained U.S. citizenship in 1998 after serving rural communities in North Carolina. He completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and was awarded the Resident Research Award. In 2006, Dr. Abu-Salha founded Johnston Psychiatric Associates with his wife, running the practice for 14 years.

Solange is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Texas. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, she has worked in various clinical settings from surgery to home health. For the past three years, Solange served as a Family Nurse Practitioner focused on pain management. Through this work, she recognized the interconnectedness of comorbid conditions and mental health. This inspired her to pursue post-master’s training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Texas Rio Grande.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric and mental health Nurse practitioner. I have worked in the field of mental health for several years, starting as a patient care coordinator of a mental health clinic. Later as a Psychiatric Registered nurse and proceeded to Vanderbilt University where I earned the MSN degree with a specialization in Psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, some years back.

Dr. Michael Adelman has cared for children and adolescents with behavioral health issues for most of his clinical life. Dr. Adelman was drawn to this field due to the real-world nature of his everyday work. His holistic approach to therapy helps patients and families identify resiliency factors to allow them to move to a place of greater self-respect and self-efficacy. Dr. Adelman is experienced in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child psychiatry. His “triple board” training helps him understand both normal development in children and various developmental challenges.

Dr. Tina is a highly experienced and compassionate provider who leaves no stone untouched when it comes to healthcare delivery. She utilizes her years of experience as a dual certified Nurse Practitioner in Family medicine and Psychiatric/Behavioral medicine to take care of her clients. Dr. Okonkwo has exceptional listening skills, and she engages her clients in a relaxing way. She understands that there is no "one size fits all" in healthcare; hence, she approaches each client as a person and not a patient, and she treats the conditions and not the symptoms.

Dr. Bader is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with subspecialty training in addiction psychiatry. Given his specialty training, he has a great deal of experience treating a wide range of addictions including alcohol, opiates, marijuana, cocaine, & prescription medications just to name a few.
