Stefanie provides a comfortable, judgment-free space to discuss patient concerns and formulate a treatment plan that incorporates not only the latest evidence-based approaches but the best plan of care for the patient and their specific circumstances and needs. Dr. Octavia Manuel-Wright is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a broad knowledge of primary care and psychiatric care for ages 10 years and over. She has a special interest in a holistic approach to care that integrates medication, behavioral modifications, dietary changes, and physical activity. She strives to build strong therapeutic relationships with her patients using a patient-centered collaborative care model. ( Octavia is NOT a licensed therapist, she offers medication management for psychiatric conditions)

She is dedicated to reducing stigma regarding mental health and helping patients achieve their goals and live full lives. Prior to specializing in mental health, Nicole has practiced as a nurse practitioner in acute care setting for past 8 years.

I'm Allison Barton, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner located in Madison, WI. I am accepting new clients. I prescribe psychiatric medications and provide therapy. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is a therapy used to treat PTSD, anxiety, self esteem concerns, and panic. I have experience serving individuals with diverse psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and substance use.

I graduated from USC in 1988. With over 35 years of experience as a physician assistant in a variety of health care settings, I am committed to the whole person concept and improving the quality of life of patients with complex medical conditions and their family members in various settings. My goal is to help patients from all walks of life navigate their complex world by listening to them in order to live a healthier and well-balanced life.

She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services and takes a holistic approach to treating the overall person. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.

The education and experiences of 25+ years, have given me the skills of evaluating and treating a multitude of life situations. I treat clients who are adults, couples, teens, and children. Problems may include marriages that are off track, have communication problems, lack intimacy, affairs; individuals stress in life resulting from divorce, work, family, loss; teens and children with trauma, loss, family changes, difficulties with peers, trouble focusing on school work, change in grades, increasing irritability; families concerned about a family member, having communication struggles, divorce recovery and/or other family trauma.

My clinic is named Being You Mental Health because I believe "being you" is a unique experience, and I feel honored to help my patients overcome barriers to becoming their most authentic and unique selves. I employ a strengths-based, patient-centered, and collaborative approach and I combine psychotherapy with psychiatric medication management (only if needed) to help my patients achieve the most improvement in their mental health and functioning. The electronic medical record I use is Luminello. Patients will have access to a patient portal (similar to mychart for epic) through which secure documents and messages can be exchanged
