It’s no secret that life can be messy and I believe that you can either learn from it, laugh about it, or cry about it– all of which are appropriate responses depending on the situation. I find importance in connecting behavioral and cognitive patterns to past experiences, and learning how to move forward and create the future you envision. I don’t shy away from the hard or messy, so you may find that I too show up authentically to assist with verbalizing and exploring the intensity of the human experience.
You may find that I integrate a number of therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs including CBT, DBT, and somatic based work. I am most passionate, however, about the mind-body connection. Our emotions start with our nervous systems, and once we can learn to identify and work with our nervous system responses, it’s a game changer.
