Welcome! Thank you for visiting my page. I work specifically with older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers. I believe that all stages in life present both opportunities and challenges and there is beauty in both. We can all get "stuck" in grief, loss, depression, anxiety and adjustment to health or life changes. I am a strengths based clinician who believes that everyone has the power to move through life's changes becoming "unstuck" while maintaining their identity and sense of empowerment. Together, we will help you to re-discover your sense of purpose and balance in life.
I help clients from strengths based and trauma informed perspectives using mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, guided imagery and problem solving techniques.
As we all move through life, we experience any number of difficult situations such as acute grief, loss, disability and other challenges that create disruption in our lives. I have learned many positive coping techniques through my own experiences which I believe make me a better clinician.
