I am a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years experience providing individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults with a variety of problems. The focus of my practice is to provide evidence based strategies for my clients to face the challenges symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma have created in their lives.
The strategies I employ include traditional CBT approaches, Mindfulness practices and DBT skills. I have received advanced training in Exposure Response Prevention therapy from the University of Pennsylvania Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety and provide this treatment for individuals with OCD and related disorders
I also have experience in providing treatment for individuals who are neurodiverse. Persons with neurological differences like Autism and ADHD, who should not receive treatment to rid them of this diversity, but may need help with problems of anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships from a perspective of how their diversity impacts these issues
