I am here to support you along the journey of gaining understanding into yourself, your situation and your goals. In addition to other evidence-based practices (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, Alternatives for Families CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy), I am trained in EMDR which is very effective in treating PTSD symptoms. I am also Gottman trained in couple's therapy.
I have provided therapy for adults, children and families in a variety of settings. I also have significant experience with crisis intervention and prevention. Over my years in practice, I have worked in inpatient mental health facilities, school-based, law enforcement settings with victims of crime, first responders and with criminal offenders.
