As I like to tell my clients, anyone at any stage of their lives can benefit from therapy. Maybe you're experiencing anxiety, depression, or life stress, etc. Therapy helps by having someone to talk with, process the stress, and formulate a treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs. Therapy works best as a collaborative process between the therapist and client, working together to achieve a positive and supportive workplace where mental and emotional health can thrive.
With a degree that emphasizes couples and family counseling, I can work with individuals in any stage of their life.I can conduct therapy with individuals, couples, and families that are experiencing life stressors and difficulties. I also specialize in depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideations, specifically in the LGBTQ population.
I use an ecelctic approach, which encompasses many different modalities. I like to use the CBT model, Humanistic approach, the Psychoanalytic approach, to name a few. I believe that therapy should be tailored to each and every client, depending on their needs. Some modalities work for some, but not others.
