Have you been trying to resolve personal issues, in relationships, with change, sadness, fear, anger, anxiety, can't cope? I may be able to help. I have been an art psychotherapist for over 30 years. I've had experiences with patients in psychiatric hospitals and 12 years with active duty & veteran men and women. I work with adults individually and in groups focused on improving emotional expression, mood regulation, somatic awareness, creativity, coping and social skills in an open studio setting. Art has been known to enhance talk therapy. No art experience is necessary to obtain the benefits of art psychotherapy.
As a licensed, credentialed art therapist, I offer a safe, non-judgmental,and supportive setting. When words are not enough to express your struggles we collaborate, verbally and/or non-verbally toward practical goals to build resiliency, strengthen coping skills,and stronger self esteem.Join me in the new group practice I've joined; create in an art studio.

Groups
Military Art Therapy Studio
Due to covid19 virtual group considered BASED ON INTEREST : A new group is forming now for male and female veterans and active members of the military, who seek to explore use of art in therapy, improve emotional expression and mood regulation, somatic awareness, creativity, and improve coping skills in an open studio setting. Must be ambulatory due to steps. This group can address the impact of active service on mind, body, spirit, family and relationships thus enhancing life function. The meditative quality of art making has been shown to help calm the brain. This 8 session pilot would lead to follow up groups.
