This work is hard, so let's work with ourselves instead of against ourselves for a change, shall we? My intention is to show up for you as you grow in your capacity to show up for yourself and others. Practice makes permanent, not perfect. I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative clinical counselor who engages in mutually empathic, growth-fostering, and compassion-centric relationships that empower diverse folks to meet their mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Both through our work together and as a result of it, we will foster a renewed zest for life, self-worth, clarity, creativity, and a desire for meaningful connection.
I have experience working with all ages living with myriad mental health and substance use concerns in a community agency, a pediatric hospital, a university training clinic, and private practice. My specialization is working alongside LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse adolescents and adults to address their mental health, wellness, education, and career needs.
Roughly translated, “arbor sana” means “healing tree.” At Arbor Sana Counseling & Wellness, Inc., clients will find care that nurtures the whole person - from the roots which ground you in the present moment to the branches which reach for the sky in a quest for growth and transformation.
