It is my belief that all people have the capacity to change and achieve their goals. I founded Resolutions Counseling and Behavioral Health Services, LLC to provide a place where clients can feel safe as they address some of the most significant challenges of their lives. I believe in the ability for all clients to make the changes necessary to live complete and satisfying lives, strengthen relationships, and bring families closer together. I work with clients experiencing mental health, emotional and behavioral concerns including relationship problems, anxiety, depression, grief, bipolar disorder, substance abuse issues and problems related to cultural identity.
I have received training from the Beck Institute and Western Psychiatric. I utilize a diverse set of therapeutic techniques. My treatment style is informed by my training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples from culturally diverse backgrounds.
I have presented on topics related to trauma, multiculturalism and clinical supervision at national and regional conferences. I have authored chapters in texts related to a variety of counseling concerns. My experience includes my current role as adjunct professor at both California University of Pennsylvania and Waynesburg University.
