At Oceanside Psychotherapy, I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with curiosity, mindfulness, and self-compassion. I strive to foster strong alliances with my clients so that we can work as a team in overcoming compulsive behaviors and return to living a meaningful life.
I specialize in treating OCD and BFRBs, such as trichotillomania (hair pulling) and excoriation disorder (skin picking). I collaborate with clients to create individually-tailored treatment plans and goals. I use evidence-based, culturally-sensitive practices and I have advanced training in ERP and HRT.
Starting or changing approaches in therapy can be intimidating, and ERP/HRT is hard work; but neither are as difficult as living overwhelmed by these symptoms.
