ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS for TELEHEALTH. I'm a LCSW and owner of Rising Up Counseling, LLC in Wallingford. Therapy can be a difficult first step but I strive to make sessions a safe and secure experience so that true healing can happen. I have over 19 years of experience in the healthcare field working with children, adolescents and adults. My experience is in helping people of ALL ages who struggle with anxiety, grief, depression, interpersonal relationships, bullying, postpartum, life transitions or other life stressors. I'm skilled in CBT, DBT, anger management as well as life coaching strategies and concepts of positive psychology.
During our time together we work on improving emotional and physical wellbeing, helping one feel more in control and reach goals, enhancing one's self-awareness and self-acceptance, providing symptom resolution, fostering mind-body integration. The ultimate goal is to enhance one's capacity to live more fully.
