I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 13 years experience working within the school social work capacity. I also have previous experience working within a clinical setting as well as having served as a volunteer for a nonprofit organization providing support to grieving children who experienced the loss of a loved one. I am experienced in working with school-aged children who may be affected by ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, grief and loss, mood, and divorce issues. I am also a wife and mother, therefore I feel that I have a greater understanding of challenges and stresses which may impact families.
I provide children, adolescents, and young adults a safe and unbiased environment as they journey through the process of better developing a healthier and happier sense of self. I use the strengths perspective and cognitive behavioral therapy to help individuals navigate through their challenges to better reach healthier and happier coping strategies.
