My ideal client is a survivor of human trafficking dealing with overwhelming shame, guilt, and feelings of worthlessness due to the stigma attached to their experience. They need a safe and validating space to heal and understand that being trafficked was not their fault. Their goals are to reclaim their sense of self, overcome emotional and mental challenges, and rebuild their fragmented identity. They want to feel valued, whole, and complete, free from the burdens of their past, so they can lead fulfilling lives. Their motivation is to regain their dignity and self-worth after the trauma they've survived.
I utilize Viktor Frankl's logotherapy to help survivors find their life's purpose, fostering self-worth and completeness. I also specialize teaching the ACE study, connecting mind-body, addressing deep-rooted trauma that causes psychological and physiological implications. I Engage in trauma resiliency models focused on considerations for holistic healing.
