I understand that life can be tough and filled with many different transitions. During these changes one can be filled with thoughts that interfere with having an easy, fulfilling life. As a mental health practitioner, I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to treat a full range of psychological and emotional troubles. Whether long or short term, I help to collaboratively produce results the clients wish to receive.
My training includes a total of 15 years as a Certified School Counselor for Palm Beach County and Hicksville School District. Personal practice include; Life coaching, Relief from Anxiety, Living with Depression, Secondary & Post-secondary students academic needs, Adolescent self-harm, and Social and Emotional Learning interventions at home & school.
As a mental health provider I create a therapeutic environment that is hospitable, secure, and healing. I am down to earth, realistic, honest, and practical; recognizing that change can be scary. I work at a gentle and non-confrontational pace. My clients learn to rely more on their inner power and, if interested, less on medicine.
