I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a certified International Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Counselor and a board certified Sexologist, with a PhD in Sexology. I have over eight years of experience working with clients from age 18-Seniors. My goal is to help clients attain peace of mind and achieve their goals regarding their mental health and emotional well-being.
Through education, encouragement and exploration, clients gain insight into their patterns of thoughts and behaviors. I believe that everyone is capable of change and can let go of hurtful parts of the past, learn how to be effective in the present and build a strong foundation for a healthy future.
Utilizing Rational Emotive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and teaching a variety of healthy coping skills, I help clients break free from old negative patterns and implement healthier coping mechanisms as they move forward towards their goals.
