In my work, I strive to create a comfortable environment in which I can assist clients in identifying thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and recurring patterns of behavior that may be impinging on the capacity to experience and create a fuller, more satisfying life.
I have a collaborative approach that involves both therapist and client actively working together to promote positive change. I have over 20 years of clinical experience and am trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I recently completed training as a psychoanalyst at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.
My practice consists of adults and older adolescents dealing with a variety of issues including, but not limited to, relationship concerns, divorce, parenting issues, childhood abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma.
