I am passionate about people! This includes individuals, adults, children, couples, and families. My entire career has focused on educating adults, students, children, and/or families with the skills they need to succeed. My clients describe me as warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. My work with clients focuses on emotional and/or behavioral issues using primarily, a combination of CBT and DBT approaches. These issues may include family problems, adjustment, life transitions, relationships, communication, depression, self-esteem, anxiety, or trauma.
Some of my specialties include trauma and self-esteem. I also work with adults struggling with life issues that may include relationship struggles like parenting, relational concerns, marriage, careers, decision-making skills, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and finances. I am an LGBT ally. Morning, evening, and weekend appointments are available.
I subscribe to an Integrative Approach. In sessions, we work to identify the thought patterns that are causing feelings of anger, anxiety, and/or depression. A variety of techniques/interventions will be used. All sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs and personality of each individual.
