I became a therapist after overcoming my own adversity and trauma. I confronted the impact of it as a young adult through therapy where I was empowered with the tools I needed to positively evolve as a person. I want to assist others in their struggle with trauma by empowering them with similar tools to confront the impact of their own trauma and to positively grow. I specialize in working with people that have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. But I can also help you if you're experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, adjustment issues or gender identity or sexual identity concerns.
I've worked with diverse populations across several states and have education and experience in psychology, education and social work. I'm passionate about continuing to build on my knowledge and I'll use a variety of approaches with you. But I'll also draw on my personal experience, knowledge and skills when it comes to helping you overcome your own trauma.
