I enjoy building trusting and therapeutic relationships with my clients as a way to facilitate growth, acceptance, change, and development. I use an eclectic approach to my counseling practice, meaning I personalize the counseling experience by pulling from different approaches to help meet your specific needs. My goal as a therapist is to provide an affirming, validating space.
My education and training has prepared me to help clients who are coping with relationship issues, grief, mood disorders, anxiety, identity issues, trauma, and transitional challenges (marriage, emerging adulthood, career changes, end of life/caregiving, identity development, etc). We will work together to build your confidence and resilience.
I use warmth and empathy as a way to connect with clients while also incorporating humor, creativity or mindfulness to process life's journey.
